Senior Bid Writer

Responsibilities of the Senior Bid Writer role:

• Monitor procurement websites and other sources to identify opportunities to tender for relevant services and contracts

• Responsible for management of the entire bid process from end-to end including completion of PQQ’s and Invitation to Tender

• Co-ordinate and project manage all parties involved in the bid process

• Prepare tender submissions for review and approval

• Liaising with wide variety of internal resources to ensure a high-quality bid

• Quality check on all aspects of the bid before submission

• Ensure all bid documentation is clear, concise and meets all the criteria in bid specifications

• Ensure all timelines are met and that the bid submitted is compliant

• Develop accurate and consistent bids with the assistance of relevant internal departments

• Ensure a ‘bid library’ is utilised for use and review for future bidding opportunities

Required Experience and Skills for this Bid Writer /Bid Manager role:

• Essential Experience- Working with Complex Care / Homecare / Healthcare tenders

• Managing the bid process

• Experience of writing bids as part of a tender process

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Stakeholder management skills

• Methodical with High level accuracy and attention to details

• Willingness to travel in the UK
