Tomorrow, 11 November, the nation pauses to honour the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community, the families who stand beside them, and all civilians affected by conflict. If you work with public bodies or supply essential services, there are practical, meaningful ways to show respect and support:

   Invite teams, sites and client meetings to keep the two-minute silence at 11:00. Add a brief note to internal diaries so everyone can take part.

2. Support veteran employment

   • Adopt the Armed Forces Covenant and pursue Employer Recognition Scheme awards.
